Adventures & Surprises

This week Robbie's bed came that we got him for the summer in Los Angeles. It's a Kidco Peapod Plus...which is a tent for kids with an air mattress in the bottom of it! We decided taking a crib would be too difficult, and he's had a hard time with playards in the past. So we looked around for other options and found this. We set it up and let him play in it for a few days...and he loves it! He even slept in it one night!
Sunday morning we woke up to SNOW!!! I thought it was supposed to be spring! It snowed all day and last night. Hopfully it won't stay long.
Robbie enjoys watching himself in the mirror. It ALWAYS puts a smile on his face!;-)

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter! Our family had a great Easter this year. The Easter Bunny came to our house, and both sets of grandparents surprised us with goodies! Here's Robbie in his Easter outfit with his Easter bucket from home (no that's not a quart of oil...it's Cars bubble bath).

At Grandma and Grandpa Wheeler's house we had an Easter egg hunt. Robbie wasn't quite sure about the grass, but he loved the eggs!

Daddy read Robbie one of his favorite Sesame Street books from when he was little...Robbie loved it!

Then Robbie and Daddy played a little catch with a new ball from Easter. We've been trying to teach him this for a little while...he's getting pretty good!

He's also starting to push up onto his knees now...he'll be crawling in no time!

Two Teeth & Moving Around

This week Robbie sprouted his first two teeth!! One came in on Thursday and the other came on Friday. It took us a while to get a picture. He doesn't like to show them off... such a humble guy.
Also, Robbie has gotten curious. He decided to venture out and explore our house. He's still not crawling, but he can roll and scoot. He found his diapers and the movies!

We got some of Robbie's 9 month pictures back this week. There are 2 more, but the studio messed up on some ordering, so we will get those in another 2 weeks. This one's my favorite...he looks so cute and innocent!

A Week of Recovery

This week our family got the influenza that's going around. We have all taken our turn at recovering. We are doing better now. Robbie is still on the tail end of it. To help him feel better, we have enjoyed Seasame Street (thank you Alyssa for sharing)...
