San Diego

Brian had work in San Diego this week.  He had to stay overnight on Wednesday, so we decided to go take a little trip and visit him at his hotel down there.  It was a fast trip but really fun.  We ate at O's American Kitchen (all of the one's in Orange County are closed now...so sad!) and went for a swim at the hotel.  We didn't stay the night with him since Robbie had school the next day, but the kids loved swimming!

Second Grade

Robbie started second grade today!

I think he was excited and nervous all at the same time.  He found out that his best friend from last year is in his class again.  His teacher is the one he was hoping to get too.

We are gonna have another great year!!

Last Week of Summer

It was Robbie's last week of summer before he went to school.
We played in the backyard.

We "worked" on some repairs. Lydi fixed the bed and Robbie fixed the stroller.

Robbie rode the Xcelerator for the first time.  That's him at the top.

Riding the Muddy Buggies at Knotts.

At the top of the Sky Cabin- Thomas's first ride

new kite flyer swings

Robbie taking Lydi on a roller coaster.

At the Discovery Cube- lifting themselves on a pulley

Also, Lydi likes to show her muscles.
It's been a good summer.  We saw lots of family and added baby Thomas to our home.

Riding

Robbie is riding his bike without training wheels!  We are so proud of him.  We went to the park once for him to really get the hang of it and yesterday he rode around the neighborhood with Brian.

2 Months

Thomas turned 2 months this last week.  He had a doctor's appointment that day, too.
 length: 24 in. (90%)
weight: 15 lbs. 9 oz. (95%)
He's starting to laugh and giggle.  He loves to have his diapers changed.  He swats at his toys.
Love this little boy!

Loved

This little boy is so loved!  Thomas is starting to coo and laugh a little.  It's so cute and gets all of us smiling right back at him.

Robbie and Lydi made Thomas a "comfy bed" this week to cheer him up during a fussy time.
