Our Week

Thomas knows when we get our shoes on, it's time to go.  He wanted to go to the park and decided to put the shoes on my feet!

We had dinner with Bobby and family.  It was Jesi and Breanna's first time at a Brazilian Steakhouse.

We saw the lunar eclipse.  So pretty!

We had our Primary Program.  It went well and the kids did their parts great.  By the end of the program Lydi had fallen asleep.  Later I asked her what happened and she said, "I just got tired of all that stuff!"

Disneyland

We went to Disneyland with our friends, the Martins, last week.  I love all the Halloween decor.

We spent most of our time at Tom Sawyer island.

We were so excited to find the treasure!

Gymnastics

Lydi is improving each week in gymnastics.

BYU Game

We went to the BYU v. UCLA game at the Rose Bowl.  It was fun to see so many BYU fans show up.  We played well even though we didn't like the outcome.  We are glad we got to go.

Corey Cougar Award

Robbie got the Corey Cougar Award last week for reading.  He's already reached his AR goal for the trimester.

Our Week

 Not a lot of pictures this week.  Lydi had gymnastics again.  

She's climbing the pole higher each week!

 Her next step on the bars is moving her feet over her head to flip off the bar.

Thomas had his first ride in the front car of the shopping cart at Ralph's.  Lydi was so excited to have a friend sit with her.

Saturday

We had a relaxing Saturday.  The boys played ball.

  

The littles played with the water table.

And then Dad and kids played backgammon.

It's nice to be home with the family.

California Adventure

What's a 3 day weekend without going to California Adventure?

We finally got to meet Oswald.  Whenever we try to get in line to meet him, they close it!

We had to stop in Bugs Land to get wet. It was soooo hot!

And then we met Olaf.

It was a good day.  We didn't stay as long as we originally planned since it was so hot, but we still had fun!

Neighborhood

 The neighborhood boys have had some nerf and water gun wars lately.  

Thomas wants to join in with the big boys so bad!

He still finds joy in knocking down the girls when they try to climb up the slide.

The girls had a dance party.

It's been fun to get to know the kids in our neighborhood better.

 Lydi's second day of gymnastics.   It was my first time going to see her.  Brian was able to take her the first time.
