We took our family pictures on Saturday.  It's always an adventure trying to get 5 people to look at the camera and smile at the same time.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving.  We went to Bobby and Jesi's house for dinner.  The food was delicious and we had a great time being with family.  We have so much to be thankful for this year.

Tijuana Temple

On Wednesday, we took a trip to Tijuana to see the new temple built there.  Aunt Jesi and Breanna were able to join us and we were so glad to have them there!

Tijuana Temple

It's a beautiful building with gorgeous artwork and dark wood on the inside. I loved sitting in the celestial room with my kids and showing them where we go when we go to the temple.

Outside they had a tent with a model of the temple and Christus.

We had such a great experience and love to feel the peace of the temple!

Season of Star Wars

Disneyland launched a new Season of Star Wars with the new movie coming out.  Star Tours has a new video, Space Mountain is now Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, and there is a new Star Wars Launch Bay with memorabilia and characters to meet.

Basketball

Brian likes to play basketball with some guys in our ward.  Robbie caught a video of him this week.  Still got the moves!

Thomas

This little boy keeps us on our toes!  He loves pancakes.  This is him eating his 5th one for breakfast that morning.  They were the same size as everyone else.  He out ate all of us with the next person eating 4.

 He likes to hide behind the curtain in our kitchen and pop out to greet us.

AR

Robbie earned his bronze AR award a few weeks ago.  He doubled his AR goal!

Gymnastics

Lydi can do "skin the cat" forward and backward now! She's been working on this for a few weeks.  We are so proud of her!

Birthday Season

We had Brian's birthday dinner on Sunday and the kids gave him their gifts.  He's had a training all weekend, so we were happy he got to come home for dinner.

Sewing

Robbie wanted to learn how to sew on the sewing machine.  He picked out some fabric for a pillowcase.  I was expecting a long time to pick out fabric since it always takes me a while to know what I want, but Robbie walked down the aisle and picked 3 of his favorites in less than 5 minutes. Ha ha....I need him to teach me how to do that.

 We came home, and he whipped this up pretty fast.  He did a great job and has a good steady had for straight seams.

Disneyland

Of course having days off of school means a day at Disneyland. We got there when it opened and made it on a few rides that normally have long lines.

Then we headed over to California Adventure.

Olaf's Snow Fest is back for the Christmas season.

We also tried out the Illustrators Academy. A Disney illustrator has a mini class on how to draw a character.  Our class was learning how to draw Steamboat Mickey.

At the end, the illustrator gave his drawing to Thomas.
