Family Time

On Monday, Lydi and I took Catherine into the bounce house for the first time.  She enjoyed laying there while Lydi softly bounced her.

We also took a family walk.  Lydi rode her scooter and Thomas rode his bike.

Robbie's Birthday

Robbie turned 10 on Friday!!  He has grown another 3" this year!  Here are some photos from his birthday photo shoot.

He won this hat/plant holder from a classroom raffle.  He loved it!

Robbie wanted to go to Outback for dinner on his birthday.  

He also wanted chocolate cupcakes and cake pops for dessert.

On Saturday he had a friend from school over for a birthday party.  They had a lot of fun together.

On Sunday, he requested salmon for his family dinner, so Brian learned how to grill a salmon!  Robbie loved it!

End of School Year

Lydi graduated kindergarten this week.  Her class had a presentation for the parents.  They recited poems, sang songs, and received awards for the year.

Lydi was the letter E in the "Kindergarten" poem.

Lydi received her bronze AR medal for reaching her reading goals in the AR program.

Since she actually doubled her goal, she also got her silver award.

There was a reception back at her classroom.  We are so proud of the work and growth she as accomplished this year!

 Robbie had an assembly on the last day of school where he received his gold AR award and High Honors for the year.  He has also worked hard and learned a lot this year!

Soak City

Soak City had their opening on Saturday.  After the guys got home from camping we headed to the water. 

It was so crazy busy, but the kids enjoyed it.

Catherine and I didn't get in the water, so we found some shade and watched the others.

Father/Son Campout

Father & Son Campout was this weekend.  It was Thomas's first time going.  He didn't want to leave at first, but when he found out how fun it was, he did great!  They went to In-n-Out for dinner first.

Then headed to the camp ground.  They played ball.

 They had a great time together.

The girls picked up some dinner at Taco Bell and ate at home.  We did nails, popped popcorn and watched Horton Hears a Who and Anne of Green Gables.

Such a fun night for all!

Kinder Field Trip

At the end of the school year, each grade level has a day at the park for a field trip.  Kindergarten had their park day this week.  I took Thomas and Catherine to spend a few hours there with Lydia.

Thomas misses Lydia everyday when she goes to school.  He's looking forward to summer break with her.

Catherine

Catherine turned 7 weeks on Saturday, and she's really starting to show some personality.  She loves to lay on her back and observe everything around her, so her play mat has been a fun toy lately.

When she smiles she scrunches up her nose and has the cutest sideways grin.

Our Week

Robbie and Thomas noticed this week that they have an outfit that matches!  Thomas was really excited to look like Robbie for a day.

Robbie has been such a helper with Catherine.  She calms down for him and will sleep on his chest while I'm trying to make dinner.

Lydia and I had some fun dates this week.  Her school was doing a Mom Night, so we went, ate pizza and listened to music together.

Our stake also had a Mother/Daughter picnic with games.

 It was fun to go with her and Catherine for an afternoon.

Open House

We had Open House at the kids school this week.  Lydia's classroom was all decked out in the Dr. Seuss theme--so cute!

Lydia has grown so much this year and loves to go to school.

Robbie also did really well this year and enjoyed his teacher.

They had the Science Fair set up in the cafeteria.  We were happy and surprised to see that Robbie won first place for his project out of the whole 4-6 grades!

It was a great night!
