Thanksgiving Week

The kids had all of last week off for Thanksgiving.  We had the elder missionaries over for dinner, and it was a fun time. I was horrible at taking pictures, so here's the few I got.  It was a hot week in the 80s-90s.  Hottest Thanksgiving on record here in southern California.  We set up the bounce house for the kids.  They played for hours out there.  Robbie and Lydi learned to do flips. It was great.

Catherine and I joined on occasion, but she did not find it amusing.

She did learn how to pull up to furniture.  She doesn't do it very often yet, but if it helps her get to me, she will!

She also loved gnawing on an apple.

We put up our Christmas decorations.  Catherine loves ornaments and jingle bells.

Brian's Birthday

We celebrated Brian's birthday on Saturday!

We went to Knott's Berry Farm and out to lunch at Dickeys BBQ.

We are so grateful for him, his hard work, and all that he does for our family!

Family Pictures

We took our family pictures this weekend.  It's hard to get everyone to look and smile at the same time, but I think we got a few good ones.

Our Weeks

It's been a few weeks since I posted.  We went to Knott's Berry Farm right before Halloween.
All the kids could ride the truck without an adult...that's a milestone!

Lydi also made the 48" mark, which opens up a lot of new rides for her!  She tried out the Jaguar.

Also, Lydi has been loosing her 2 front teeth.  On Halloween she had one hanging by a thread!

But now it's gone and she kinda loves it!

Brian attended a BYU Law Society Symposium.  Elder Cook was the keynote speaker.  He came around and visited with Brian and shook his hand.

Catherine can get herself in to a lot of little spaces.  The mess-making has begun.

7 Months

Catherine turned 7 months on the 1st.

She's regressed with her sleeping. She still takes 2 good naps in the day, but has been getting up 2-4 times at night.  I think she's teething and it's wearing us all out..ha ha!

She crawls pretty fast, pulls up on her knees, and always wants to be with Mom.

She loves the play food in her room.
She's a joy and perfect for our family.  We love you, Catherine!

Halloween

This year for Halloween Robbie was a stick figure, Lydia was a butterfly, Thomas was a Power Ranger, and Catherine was a flower.

The kids had a Halloween parade at their school.  Robbie and his good friend.

Lydi

Thomas played basketball while they set up.

Our ward had a trunk-or-treat.

I went as a scarecrow.
It was a great Halloween.  Our first ever where we got to keep our candy.  Robbie can eat any of it now.  Some he has to save until is free day once a week, but he can have it!
