Birds and Oranges

I got this clear bird feeder for Christmas.  I set it up and have been waiting for birds to come for a little over a month.  We finally have some!  I think they are house finches.

Also, every week we get oranges from Robbie's piano teacher.  Her tree has hundreds of oranges on them.  We love to make orange juice on the weekends.

Lydi knows how to put a ponytail in her hair!

Also, Catherine will walk with a walker now!

Stanton Central Park

We found a new park on Monday.  The kids loved this huge train to climb on.  It also has a splash pad in the summer.

It also had this ropes course for kids.

Catherine

Catherine is growing up so fast I can hardly believe it.  She loves to feed herself.  She likes peas and carrots, broccoli, bananas, strawberries, bread, and cheerios.

She also enjoyed story time at the library.

At the beginning of the month she had 2 bottom teeth.  She now has 7 teeth total- 4 on top and 3 on bottom!

Thomas

Thomas is at such a fun age.  He says silly things, acts a little crazy, loves his siblings, and has a great personality.  We have the best conversations and he says the most heartfelt prayers.  On Christmas Eve, he prayed that Christmas would come in just 2 hours.  After having waffles one day, he prayed that he could have waffles again and AGAIN!
He loves to build.  This is a rocket ship he made.

He loves to read books over and over until he has them memorized and then reads them over and over again.

We went to library story time and loved listening to the stories and singing songs with everyone.

He had his first Sunday as a Sunbeam this week.  His teacher's name is Sis. Thomas and he loves her.   After we read the scriptures in the morning he likes to ask me, "Is Jesus still powerful?" (He's into super heroes and powers.)  I tell him every day, "Yes, Jesus will always be the most powerful.  We want to be on His side."  Today he added, "Yeah, Sis Thomas teached me that Jesus is King over all the Earth."
We love our Thomas!

Basketball Begins

Basketball season has started!  Robbie and Lydi are both playing in the league this year.

Big News

Last year, Brian switched law firms and has been working at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud, & Romo. On Friday, the firm announced that Brian was elected to partner!  We are so excited and proud of him and his accomplishments.  He has worked hard these past several years.  He enjoys those he is working with at AALRR and feels honored to be a partner at the firm.  He is excited for the future at the firm.

Also, today is Maryn's first day of school for her Master's of Education program at Penn State.  The degree is in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Children's Literature.  She's really excited to be in school again and looks forward to learning new things.

Knott's Merry Farm

We finally made it to see the Knott's Merry Farm shows on Saturday.  We also rode some rides before the shows started.
Robbie and I ready for Ghost Rider.

Lydi and I on Coast Rider.

This is the new ride that will open in the summer.  It's a pretty gnarly drop.

At the Snoopy Ice Show.

Fun day with family!
