Father & Son BYU Camp

Robbie and Brian had a great Father/Son/Birthday weekend.  They attended the Father & Son BYU Basketball Camp.  They stayed in Chipman Hall in Helaman Halls.

They played basketball in the Marriott Center.

Met some of the players- Yoeli Childs

TJ Haws

Practiced in the Smith Fieldhouse

They also played some football.

More basketball in the new annex.

Football locker room

They got to run out on the field like the football players do.

They went bowling one night.

On Sunday they went to Music and the Spoken Word in the tabernacle. They also had their own sacrament meeting in the Assembly Hall with Elder Rasband, who also attended the camp.

Temple Square

They hiked the Y with Chad Lewis.

Played more football in the indoor practice facility.

They had such an amazing time and I'm so glad they got to go.

After the camp, they went to Gawbie and Grandpa's house for a birthday celebration.

Our Weekend

While the guys were gone to BYU camp, I had some fun with the littlest 3.  Tom and Cat went to Knott's Berry Farm with me.

Tom was brave and tried this ride again.  Any sort of heights scares him and this one jumps you along in the car.  By the end he liked it though.

Catherine on the carousel.

We joined Lydia for her "indoor" park day. She had a field trip planned at the park, but it rained the day she was supposed to go.  They had fun indoor games instead.

We went to the pirate park.  The kids love playing here.  Catherine even got to go on the turning stand and loved it.

We had FHE and Tom was so good at picking a scripture and Lydia helped him read it.

On Monday, we went to the kiddie pool.

We had fun and are glad our boys are back!

11 years

Robbie turned 11 years old his week! Time is flying by with this kid.

He's 5'5" of love, smarts, helpfulness.

He enjoys making comic books, playing basketball, playing video games, reading, and being with friends.  He's excited to start Boy Scouts and still plays the piano.  He's good with his siblings, especially Catherine.
We love having you in our family, Robbie!

OIT

Robbie had more skin testing done yesterday for his OIT program.  They tested the peanut panel and the environmental panel.  All the numbers look so much better!  OIT and SLIT are working.  He's going to be on his current dosing with peanut butter 6/7 days per week for another 2 weeks.  Then the doctor will give us a new higher dosing schedule to get him ready to graduate!  The latest treatment of taking cromolyn before peanut butter has been working for him, and we are so excited.

P.S. He measured 5'5" when he checked in at the doctor's office.

Birthday Robbie

Robbie turns 11 in a few days, but we celebrated part of his birthday this last weekend.

He opened presents.

Had his basketball cake

and picked salmon for his birthday dinner.

He was also honored in Primary as a Birthday King.
We love having him in our family!
