We stopped by City Hall and talked with the Mayor. Kids got to ask him any question they wanted.
Lydia was in band this semester playing the flute. She performed "Hot Cross Buns" and "Go Tell Aunt Rhody"
After school Catherine's class performed their "Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" song again.
We took a little hike for a scavenger hunt.
Then we headed across the street to the ocean. The kids had been learning a dance to "Hawaiian Roller Coaster" and performed it for us on the beach.
We all went to the Angels game on Monday night against the Red Sox. We made it through the whole game and the kids were great! Angels won!
We found a raccoon in our backyard this morning!
Thomas ended his flag football season. He's had a lot of fun playing and learning a new sport.
Our youth went on a spiritual hike for their activity. Each shared a short spiritual thought at the top of the ridge. It was such a beautiful night!
Lydia had her annual eye check up this week. She picked out some new frames since her last ones were kids sized and getting small for her. I really love her new ones!
The younger kids had Open House this week. Catherine's classroom was an underwater/ocean theme. (that's an octopus tentacle from the giant octopus hanging from the ceiling in front of them)
