Robbie and I have spent a lot of time at the playground in front of our apartment this week. We've had such beautiful weather, and there's always other kids and moms to play with.
Robbie found this baseball glove and played catch with me most of the time we were out there today. finding the ball making a run for it In the end Grandpa Wheeler came and that put a HUGE smile on Robbie's face.
Today we went with Daddy to school because he didn't have to be there very long. We all walked down to the school ,and Robbie and I walked around while Daddy met with his professor. Robbie loved to look out the windows and find all the #4's on the doors of the offices (we were on the 4th floor). It was fun to get out and let Robbie explore.
Saturday, Robbie and I walked/ran our first 5K! The Red Cross organized it and the money went toward local disaster relief. We did it with our friends, Kara and Kaiya. before after
Robbie explored the world of painting again this week. He started with a some dark blue... and after that became distressing.... added a little light blue... and finished off with a nice signature. (He didn't quite understand the concept of holding his hand still, so the hand print is a little blurry.) We'll be adding this to his room decor. I want to make him a comforter when he graduates from his crib out of blue jeans and corduroy. I'm hoping this will look good with it.
