Rice Krispie House

On Friday, we decorated Rice Krispie houses.  The gingerbread houses from the store are never peanut free and they seem like a lot of effort to make from scratch.  I found this kit to make houses from Rice Krispie treats and loved it. Next year we can just reuse the molds!

Lydia was in charge of one of the Christmas trees on the side.  She was not sure why we would put candy on it when the candy fit so well inside her mouth.

Making a masterpiece

We loved this activity!  It will definitely be a yearly tradition.

Holiday Program

Robbie had a Holiday Program at school on Thursday.  Brian worked from home that day so he could attend with us.

Cuteness

Love these people!

Discovery Center

We went to the Orange County Discovery Center as a family on Saturday.  I've been with the kids multiple times, and we thought it was fun to show Dad around.

Santa was there for pics.

Lydia still did not want to go near him, so I had to stand in between her and Santa.

Taking Dad on an archeological mission to find all the bones on the list.

They had a Bob the Builder exhibit.  Robbie got to meet Bob himself.

High Heels

Lydi likes going through all of our shoes in the entry where we take them off.  I think her favorites are Daddy's big tennis shoes and Robbie's flip flops.I wore high heels on Sunday for the first time in over a year and a half.  I'm sure Lydi doesn't remember seeing this kind of shoe.  She found them in the entry after we got home and couldn't resist putting on something new.

Singing All The Way

So, my little girl is in to singing lately.  She's starting to pick up phrases in her favorites from church and home.  She'll hum a tune as she's playing or picking up.  It's the cutest thing.
