Rodeo Dr.

Well, Robbie and I visited THE Rodeo Dr. this week. There are lots of fancy shops with fancy cars parked outside!

I knew Brian would love this store, Porsche Design.

I parked across Santa Monica Blvd. in the residential area so that I could get in a walk, as well as free parking on this shopping spree (or rather sight-seeing trip, because I couldn't afford anything;-) ). So here are some of the mini-castles that I found in the residential area.

This castle is a bit artsy. Each window is stained glass like a cathedral!
On the corner of Rodeo Dr. and Santa Monica Blvd. we found a park to play at for a little while. Robbie loved this huge tree.

Birthday Boy!!

Happy Birthday, Robbie! Robbie must have remembered that it was his birthday because he woke up this morning at exactly 5:34 a.m....the time he was born! He went back to sleep luckily and woke up again later. ;-) We have had so much fun with our little one today! We drove by the lake in Beverly Hills where the opening scene to Andy Griffith was filmed, but it was so crowded that we decided to come back another day. Then we went to Party City to get his balloons and a few other things for the day. We came home to frost the cake, then went to eat lunch, and walk around the Beverly Center. When we got home, we opened presents and ate cake. It was a great relaxing day! Here are some photos of what we have done.

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Since we are so close to Simi Valley this summer, we had to go visit the Reagan Presidential Library. It was beautiful! They had his Air Force One there as well as an exhibit with many of Nancy Reagan's clothes...she had a lot, and they were all designer!

Pulling Up and Scooting

Robbie is now pulling up to furniture! He likes cruising around the couch and coffee table. We are so excited about this new accomplishment! Pulling up to the couch (sorry it's so dark)

6th Tooth

Robbie's got 4 teeth on top and 2 on bottom now! In the picture, the newest one is still a little small so you might have to blow up the picture to see it.

Santa Monica Beach

On Saturday we went to the beach for a little while. It was so fun to see Robbie react to the water and sand. He didn't quite know what to think of them...it was all so new!
