Spring Break

Our Spring Break started out with seeing Danny's family, but of course I didn't get any pictures.  It was so fun to see them again.

We also went to Knott's Berry Farm.  They are having Boysenberry Days right now.  We haven't been in so long and the crowds weren't too bad.

We had to pick up a boysenberry pie to take home!
One day we went on a hike to our new favorite spot on the trails.  It's so fun to explore!
For the end of the week, we headed out to Rancho Mirage for a few days.  The kids love the hours of pool time and tennis playing.

We normally see a lot of mallard ducks, Canadian geese, and American coots, but this time we also saw a swan!  It was so gorgeous!

We also found a short overlook point to hike up to that looked out over Rancho Mirage.

It was a great week for family time!

March

We've been busy in March.  We had a Girls' Night where we went to Blaze Pizza and Crumbl Cookie.  Afterwards we did our nails and watched a movie.

For the Boys' Night, they went to a Warriors vs Lakers game.  Robbie finally got to see Steph Curry play!

Thomas continues to play basketball at the YMCA.  He's pretty good at stealing the ball and going for a lay up.

Robbie continues to work on his goal to dunk.  He's pretty close!

We went back to our old ward for a friend's baptism.  She and Tom her in school and church classes together.

Our local high school put on Matilda the play.  One of my young women was in it, so I took the girls to see it.  So professionally done!  Catherine was so tired but couldn't fall asleep because it was so entertaining.

Lately

Lots going on around here, so I'm just putting it all in one post.

Catherine and I finished a bunch of puzzles.

Tom is playing basketball still for the YMCA.  He has a lot of fun with his team.

Another puzzle

We had a girls night where we started off with dinner at Blaze pizza.

Girls thought it was cool that the restaurant almost had their full last name on the wall.

Then we made sugar cookies and watched a movie.

The boys went to a BYU v Pepperdine game and had a lot of fun.

We went for Thrifty's ice cream one night.

We had a storm come through and it brought hail!  It almost looked like snow outside.

Rob and Tom took a basketball clinic class together at the YMCA.  They were the oldest and youngest ones there.

A little bb gun shooting in the back yard.

A family scooter ride down to the courthouse by our neighborhood.

We took out the rose bushes by the basketball court...to many basketballs were dying.  Catherine and I planted some hibiscus and pink breath of heaven.

Our ward had a talent show.  Brian played the drums and showed it on video.

Lydia and Tom played the piano.

Catherine and I displayed our talents.  Me- quilts, Cat- drawings (on the poster next to my quilts)

Robbie was in a skit with the YM.

Catherine and I joined Tom and Lydia at the elementary school for Read Across America day before school.
