Christmas Vacation

We had a great Christmas break for the past three weeks! We spent time with the Wheeler side for the first week and then flew to Tennessee to spend time with the Cleghorn side. We loved seeing those we could. Hopefully we will be able to see both of our oldest brothers and their families soon. Here's some pictures of our adventures.

At the Wheeler's opening presents.
On our way to Tennessee.
At the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga.

This tank had a place where you could crawl under and have the tank surround you. Robbie and I are on the inside and Brian is taking the picture outside. Robbie loved seeing all of the interesting fish.
At the Museum of Appalachia.

This is their school house.
This is Mark Twain's childhood home.
At the Andrew Johnson museum.

There are actually three different sites we went to in Greeneville with Andrew Johnson memorabilia. He was Abraham Lincoln's Vice President and therefore took office after Lincoln was killed. He was also the first president to be impeached.
Johnson was a tailor before he got into politics. This is a wedding coat he made.
This is Johnson's tailor shop.
This is what an early home of the era would have looked like.
This is the site where Johnson was buried. It looked like his wife, children, and a few grandchildren were also buried by him.
This is Johnson's Presidential Library and Museum at Tusculum College.
Johnson's personal desk and library.
An American flag of the era.
A handwritten note by Abraham Lincoln on the day he died.

Natalie and Robbie standing by the life mask and hand of Abraham Lincoln.
A teapot owned by Pres. Jefferson Davis (the president of the Confederate states).
The newspaper reporting of Lincoln's death.

Shopping in Sevierville. This town had 4 or 5 outlet malls.
Getting ready before we head to the airport.
At Jack-in-the -Box in Nashville.

Looks like you guys had a busy and fun few weeks. We loved being able to see Robbie. Alyssa still points to pictures and says "Baby Robbie."
