Temple Night

Our ward had a youth temple night on Saturday.  Catherine and I walked around the grounds and took some lovely pictures.  It was such a beautiful night.

 

BYU Football Game

Brian was able to fly up to Utah to attend the BYU v Notre Dame game.  He has two colleagues who are Notre Dame grads, so they came with him.  Next year he will go with them to South Bend.

Danny and Laura were great hosts!  They went to the BYU basketball exhibition game on Friday night too.

They stormed the field after the game.  It was such a good game! Go Cougs!

Projects

 Catherine finished her first quilt!  I think it turned out so cute and represents her personality.  She put in a lot of hard work!

Lydia has done some woodworking in YW.  They made a really handy bookshelf!  She sanded it down and put it altogether this week.  She just needs to stain it now. 

I love the skills these girls are learning!

Time Together

We had a few family moments to record this week.

Catherine's school had Donut's with your Darlings one morning.  She always loves a chance to eat a donut.

Tom played well in his football game on Friday night, scoring a touchdown.  Unfortunately they lost, but it was a good game.

Brian took Lydia and Tom on their monthly family temple trip on Saturday morning.  

Later that afternoon, Tom and I went to Beauty and the Beast at Segerstrom for one of my birthday plays.  They had some of the costumes out on display.  It was so good and fun to be together.

Afterwards we went to Red Robin.  Brian and the girls also went to Red Robin while we were at the play.  

Homecoming

Lydia went to Homecoming this weekend with a group of friends from school and church.

They came over for pictures and dinner before the dance.

Quilting

 

Catherine completed the quilting on her first quilt this weekend!  She started out nervous, but really got the hang of it after a bit.  She did a great job!
